Get to know pharmacy industry veteran and recent addition to our Clinical Team, Senior Director of Clinical Products, Tom Davies, PharmD.
Tom’s career in the pharmacy industry spans nearly 25 years. His firsthand observation of the benefits of pharmaceutical interventions while working at a correctional facility is what inspired him to pursue a career in pharmacy over two decades ago. Today, as RxBenefits Senior Director of Clinical Products, he supports all present and future clinical program initiatives within the organization.
Impressive Rx Resume
Tom came to RxBenefits with Confidio after the companies joined forces, bringing his deep pharmacy benefits background and expertise to his new role. His extensive resume includes long-term care, retail, toxicology, academia, specialty pharmacy management and distribution, and managed care. In terms of how his prior experience goes hand in hand with his current role, Tom says, “I feel my prior clinical experiences and responsibilities have allowed me the opportunity to quickly become part of and contribute to the RxBenefits Clinical Team.” He says one of the most challenging aspects of the role is, “understanding and connecting with the applicable resources within such a large organization.” Tom’s passion for addressing and implementing solutions for the betterment of all makes him a strong asset to the team.
Free Time = Family Time
When Tom isn’t busy innovating and developing clinical solutions, he finds balance in spending time with his sons doing various outdoor activities together, such as fishing, hunting, playing soccer, or running in the beautiful state of Utah.
